(January 30, 2015, 12:18 pm)I was referred to the Divers Emergency Service after returning from holiday with decompression sickness. A team of staff were called out on Friday afternoon and were fully prepared to treat me in the hyperbaric chamber for 7 hours, then 2 hours on consecutive days for 3 days. From the moment I arrived, they made me comfortable and monitored my treatment. The doctors and staff are very dedicated, thorough and friendly. The emergency staff were all divers so I trust their knowledge and experience. They gave me a full medical and follow up appointment with ECG. I can't thank them enough, I know where to go if it ever happens again! They also run dry dive courses and treat a number of other medical ailments that require hyperbaric medicine.
