I love this place, it’s beautiful and safe . I miss living around there.
Unexpected Surprise. Lived in Clapton and Leyton for 52 years and this was the first time I had visited this site. Felt i was on a school field trip was amazed and interested. Would defo recommend
Very interesting place to visit. Quite a gem. Not sure I'd want to visit at night but seems very busy in the day.
Fascinating history.
One of my favourite spots for an evening walk. There are remnants of old mills that look like a pre-historic henge. Then, upon closer inspection, you realise it looks like it must be more recent.
If you have an imagination for experiences in the past it’s worth a visit and a wander. Not at night though, there isn’t much lighting and there are often unsavoury character wondering around.
Very interesting. Former treatments works turned into a nature reserve. Plus Old river Lea and Lea Navigation. Good day out.
