Very well kept park. Cafe has everything you could want and the coffee is much better than the norm for this kind of place!! Walking is good and while it all looks a bit barren during the winter there isn't much they can do about this ????.

The children and I loved this place. Green little trail which is wheel chair friendly. Awesome play areas around the trail with educational points for children and adults to learn. Bike hire available (and trailers & trikes) £3 1/2 hour, £5 an hour. Has a Cafe with hot and cold food, and a small shop to support the Thames Chase trust.
The park here is nice although close to the M25 so a bit noisy. For the kids it is excellent with at least 3 well built play areas. The shop is nice but cafe is expensive and doesn't serve much variety in food. A mediocre selection of sandwiches which they don't even make on order so once they run out that it!
A good cafe would make this place excellent.
We often come here for a lovely peaceful walk where a lot of the area is under trees for shade from the sun. There is lovely cafe selling food, hot drinks and ice cream. In the grounds is very cheap parking at only £2 for the day and the children will be fully entertained with various climbing structures and bike hire. A lovely way to spend a few hours. Upminster is just down the road with lovely shops.
