Went for a bit of a lazy Sunday stroll and found within the park are a couple of well-kept formal gardens - an English walled garden with lovely roses and a Japanese garden by the small river that runs through the park along with a few ducks and ducklings. Would definitely return!
(December 2, 2013, 7:02 am)Fancied a change from East London and this was a nice little stroll round a very well kept park. Not a massive park compared to say Victoria Park but a very nice autumnal walk.
It has a very nice common and a very busy cafe. There are lots of hidden spaces and a few pubs for a nice lunch near by.
