“I attended the 2017 Burns night ceilidh here. The venue is much bigger than it seems from outside. The ground floor is an art gallery and the lower floor holds a function room. The ceilidh was great but packed. The room could barely accommodate everyone, but that just added to the fun. The haggis was good, by all accounts. I had already eaten so did not partake. The burns poems were fantastic and delivered with drama. The beer was cheap and the venue had a large clothes rail for coats and very friendly staff. A great night out. Tripped over my own two feet every two minutes but there was always a friendly dancer ready to remind me of the moves.”

“Went there for a quick bite to eat before work. Restaurant had 4 people waiting for food. Asked for a small portion of peppered steak. The food was amazing, I've eaten in many carribean outlets and I will vouch for this place as the best tasting peppered steak out of them all. The meat was tender, it was served with rice and some pasta and also plantain and a fried potato. For 7 pounds my only complaint would be that it could have done with a bit more sauce as I felt it was all a bit dry however top marks for flavour. Will be dropping in again soon.”
