Very good fish and chip shop with a wide selection and good quality. The prices are not too bad either it has now become our go to chippy.
I tried this establishment 2 weeks ago and was absolutely amazed! The freshness and whiteness of the fish, the crispy batter and amazing chips, makes this place easily the best fish and chip shop in the area; they also do amazing saveloys and battered sausages. Not only this, the staff members are also amazing and helpful, and are always happy to help. Nothing better than piping hot fish and chips on a Friday, and The Fish Basket is honestly the best place to get this from! Would 11/10 recommend everyone to try.
Been open a year now and never disappointed. Food is of great taste and of a very high standard for a shop of its caliber. Highly recommended to anyone local. Try the H burger
A great local chippy, we always enjoy the fish, chips, scampi, saveloy and sausages. Everything tastes like it was freshly cooked. We've found the fried chicken and wings a little hit and miss, same with the curry sauce which has sometimes been a bit on thin side. Portion sizes are good and prices are reasonable. Service is prompt and friendly, we usually order over the phone in advance so there's not too much of a wait.
