“I was born nearby (Kenley Lane) and spent most of my childhood (up until 2007) visiting the common. It’s a great place to walk your dog with easy access to Kenley Aerodrome. There are great views of Riddlesdown and the valley (Whyteleafe) from the fields bordering the aerodrome. It tends to be quieter than its counterparts Coulsdon and Riddlesdown, so is ideal for a quieter walk. The common is well maintained by the Corporation of London and the responsible Ranger who manages it from Kenley Lane.”
