  Myself and my wife Susan have always been keen cyclists, however I had a knee replacement late 2016 and she had to have a hip replacement at the start of 2017. After having these ops it has made it a bit harder to get up steep hills in our area, which is why we started thinking about going electric...
  We have been members of a local cycling group and year after year people are upgrading to electric. One of our friends recommended Electric Bike Conversions Ltd to us and as we only live in Hertford, we thought we'd pop down and have a look. We were welcomed by Sarah and Jamie at reception, who kindly allowed us to try their demo bikes out.
  
  As Susan has a step through bike, they gave us the options of converting her bike with a rack battery (positioned behind her saddle) with a 250w front wheel kit. I decided to go for the 250w rear kit with the downtube battery (fitted where my water bottle once was). They even offered the service of fitting the kits for us, at a small cost. We went off for a couple hours to get a bite to eat and when we go back, they were both done!

  I haven't had the bike for that long, and wanted to hold off doing a review so early. But so far it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made.
  
  I bought the bike from ebay, and wondered whether I'd make a mistake as I didn't know what I was buying or who from. Turns out, the bike itself is very well built and the electric kit is even better. I love riding but I've never smiled so much whilst riding this thing.
  
  To top it off, the company are fantastic. I asked if they could send the bike to me earlier as I was going away, they replied instantly and dropped it off the next day. As well as this they took the time to go through how the bike works etc. I cannot recommend the company enough, and when I have the money I'll probably convert my old bike with one of the 1000 watt kits.

  My complete bike arrived early April on time. I've got the 1000w motor. I would recommend this company and the bike. The price was unbeatable. There's more routine maintenance and regular checks I've discovered with an ebike, check the spokes etc.. I ride about 18 miles a day most days.if I ride on the 1 setting I can get two days riding on one charge, I use pedal assist. On faster fun rides using higher 4 or 5 levels. Recharging each time is best.
