  Have used this nursery for years. Healthy plants at a competitive price. Wouldn't think of going elsewhere and so pleased it isn't a full blown garden shopping experience!!

  One contributor said this was a 'hidden gem' and I have to agree. Best plant nursery I've come across during 25 years living in Hertford. Friendly knowledgeable owners and staff, who offer advice when asked, but don't force any hard sell. Quality plants, in good quality compost and sold at reasonable prices.You're not going to get your 20 plants for £3 here, but I'd rather pay a little more, for a more mature plant, which I know will take straight away, when planted out or grown on. Only problem, is I have to be very self disciplined, or I'd be there at least once a week!

  Had the lovely opportunity to visit this fine nursery on several occasions. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and experienced--every time I speak to them, I leave with a smile and the confidence of a seasoned green thumb.

  What a hidden gem, I noticed the nursery when driving by last Autumn and thought I just have to return during April and May.
  
  Well, I was ever so pleasantly surprised - the staff were busily watering away when I entered and dropped everything to help me. Some excellent advice offered around fruit trees and the beautiful camellia that I am now the proud owner of.
  
  I will definitely be back a second (probably a third time) before the summer is here. So nice to see that their plants were grown by the owners.

  Excellent nursery - can’t believe they grow all their own plants!
  
  Not to be confused with a garden centre mind you. Very reasonably priced, smashed Van Hages and the Riverside out the water on variety and price point of plants.
  
  Read the last review, not sure why that lady can’t recycle her own plastic... I assume she has also written a review to every major supermarket that doesn’t take back and re-use plastic bottles, glass jars, toilet roll and newspapers.
