Built by Hertfordshire Airfields Memorial Group in 2006; Commemorates the 1939-1945 world war and the people and service personnell of sawbridgeworth who paid the ultimate price for freedom. There are 2 plaques on this memorial, one for the Airfield and the other for 2 (AC) Squadron. My personal score is 10/10.”

“Good day plenty of stalls, very dog oriented, wasn't busy, mainly because it was so hot, and nowhere to shelter, lots of the shows were shortened or cancelled because it was too hot for the animals, craft tent a little disappointing, not many stalls with different crafts, all very similar, food was good, plenty of choice, but no beer tent.”

“Beautiful and peaceful hidden away nature reserve - I think we were the only people there! Lovely trails, bird hides and a compost loo! The entrance is not always open but the key is available from the porch of the neighbouring house so you can let yourself in.”
