“This was the first time I have been to the Strafford since the recent refurbishment. It's clean and up to date. It's was lovely and warm too! We had a meal which was also Good. The Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a quick peep at what they have done with the garden area. I was so impressed with the new outside space. It's doubled the size of the pub. It has three levels of decking. Plenty of seating. It's well lit up for the evenings too. I'm told there are heaters outside but I didn't see them as I only had a very quick look outside. Can't wait for the summer it's going to be the place to be on a summers evening!”

“We had our Wedding Reception at the College Arms back in August, the service was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Andy was very helpful, and helped us enormously with the menu, drinks and organising all the bits and bobs that go with a reception, we all spilled out into the lovely Garden as it was a hot day. All my guests really enjoyed themselves and all commented on how much they enjoyed the food and drink .”

“I went here for Sunday lunch on the 18/03/18 and really enjoyed it. There were 4 of us. We sat in the bar and there was a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely open fire on what was a very cold day. When I booked the table the very helpful lady I spoke to suggested that we sit there rather than in the restaurant as we had a 10 week old baby with us and it was good advice. The meal was delicious we all had the roast dinner and the lemon meringue pie was the best I have tasted. I will definitely eat here again.”
