  Stopped by chance on the way to Brands Hatch, glad we did! I had a ploughmans, you choose 2 or 3 items to go with the standard food which was of good quality and quantity. I chose sliced ham hock and stilton to go with pickled onions, sliced granary bread, dressed salad, pickles and Branston pickle. My fellow diners had a BLT and warm chicken, bacon and avocado wrap. Everyone really enjoyed their food and for a light lunch we were all satiated! Friendly, helpful staff and a proper nice pub atmosphere

  Discovered this by chance yesterday with my friend, I don’t usually write reviews but I was so impressed with the service and the quality of the food I felt I had to!
  We both had the fish and chips which I would highly recommend, good size portions and nice and hot. The girls who served us were really friendly and brought our food out quickly. Definitely will be going back again ????????

  One good pint of beer but it ran out and no new barrel was put on, so that was a bit disappointing. Food was okay. My colleagues appeared to enjoy theirs (a veggie burger and a chicken burger BBQ) but my fish cakes had rather too much potato padding for me! Generally nice atmosphere spoiled by wasps when we tried sitting out in the garden but that's not their fault as it is a bad year wasp-wise this year. Will I go back? If in in the area, yes, but probably not go out of my way to return.
