(March 13, 2018, 9:12 pm)This is a place that dogs love. It’s a great example of working woodland with cows grazing and plenty of flora and fauna. Wear wellies when it’s wet if you are squeamish about mud.

(January 24, 2018, 9:02 am)Great place for a short walk, car park is free which is good but is very small so don't always expect to get parked. As is the same with a lot of places these days, dog walkers don't seem to like picking up after their dogs, the worst I've seen was in front of a dog litter bin, trying to show my kids how lovely nature is and this kind of thing ruins it. Other than this the woods are a great place for a leisurely stroll exploring all the winding paths and lovely woodland Ashenbank has to offer.
