  Beautiful setting. Very lovely castle to visit. The gardens are lovely, house is great and we really enjoyed our day out. The kids playground is very good too

  Give yourself an entire day to visit here. There's ample free parking, but obviously there's an entrance fee. It is possible to walk around the whole lake, on the far side near the water maze, it's planted with meadow flowers - seasonal of course. There are miniature versions of Manor houses and castles displayed in rooms off the main shop. The food was good quality in the restaurant. There's a lovely bar and ice cream place overlooking the lake. The grounds are beautiful and the interiors are interesting and informative. A super day out for all ages.

  Wow and wow again ! What a fantastic place. Castle and grounds all beautifully and tastefully decorated for Christmas. Excellent exhibits and visitor friendly historical information boards throughout the castle. Lovely walk round lake and brilliant festive meal in restsurant. Home of Anne Boleyn. May she rest forever in peace.

  Lovely grounds and fantastic play area for the kids. Took a pack lunch so couldn't judge food, but plenty of places to enjoy a picnic. Had a lovely coffee whilst the children played which was particularly nice as it was a cold day (bring cash as card terminal isn't always working). Good gift shop too with things for all budgets.

  Beautiful walks. Amazing gardens. Adventure park for children. Good toilets. Cafe. Perfect for a day out, even if you don't want to explore the castle where Ann Boleyn grew up.
