(December 13, 2018, 1:23 pm)I have just had the most amazing liver and bacon I have ever eaten, it just melted in my mouth, beautiful! Sue had scampi which was also good but alas no room for dessert! Lovely attentive staff and lovely atmosphere.

(December 10, 2018, 2:57 am)A little gem of a hotel/pub in Pembury. We stayed here to attend a wedding in nearby Tunbridge Wells.
Food was superb, along with the friendly service from all staff. -

(October 28, 2018, 1:22 pm)We had a table for 14 people and 2 babies. We had starters and mains and desserts. And not for 1 minute did the staff seem overwhelmed. The starters came out quickly, followed by the mains almost immediately, none of which were cold! Some of us had ordered carvery and were told to get in the queue before the others food was brought out. The table we sat at was near the carvery itself but we didn't feel like we were too close and my aunt commented that she felt like we were the only people there despite being at the main thoroughfare, and it being very busy! The babies got a treat and additional help, and portion sizes couldn't be better! Sooo sooo tasty! 5/5 will definitely be going here again!
