I have not got snowchains myself, but have experience of them. In Norway (and no doubt other countries that way) you have to have snow chains in your car by LAW. Why don't people have them in this country? They are not expensive and save many hours of angst when the weather changes, like NOW.
These guys have fantastic customer service. I was preparing to drive to the Italian alps and needed snow chains for a unusual tyre sizes. They had them in stock and when I called in to their premises they adjusted them to suit my car and gave me a full demo on how to attach them. Having zero experience with snow chains this was invaluable and appreciated. Highly recommended.

Having just changed car, I asked Adrian @ Polar Snowchains to recommend new chains because the Konig box indicates that they are too small for my new car tyres. Adrian told me that he thought they may fit despite the product details. He was absolutely right

I have just bought some snow chains from Polar Automotive and as well as being cheaper than Halfords for a better product, the service I got was fantastic – despite being caught on the M25 for 90 mins and hence being an hour late, the chap stayed in the office until 6.30pm on a Friday evening and then had the time to show me exactly how to fit the chains – very useful given that I would have to be doing it in the dark!
