  Great venue for a friendly gathering. We had a Christmas Lunch for a party of 9 and were shown into a separate small dining room with adjoining lounge area which made us feel very special
  Food and service were excellent and we intend to return soon

  Lovely "cosy" atmosphere! Food rather pricey...but good quality! We were there this evening to celebrate my elder daughter's birthday. Pub was very busy. Essential to book a table. Very small car park.....in my opinion.

  Terrific food. Starters and main courses are a joy as is the service (very attentive and friendly) but was let down by a shall choice of deserts. Regular choice for a nice reasonably priced dinner or Sunday lunch

  Very beautiful place! stunning location, you have the feeling of being in the middle of the forest but you are actually really close to the town. We had the lamb Sunday roast, it was delicious but the gravy a little bit scarce. My dessert (lemon and coconut cheesecake) was very beautifully served, but I expected a better quality crust taking into account that it was made of nuts.

  Great hotel top class. Good pub great range of beers and gins. Car park adequate. Pub garden in the sun great setting in the middle of royal Tunbridge wells short walk to high street. Friendly staff we give it 5 stars
