(December 4, 2018, 9:23 am)Good reserve for birding and wildlife. 4 big hides. Nice visitors centre and loos. Play area for children with picnic tables.

(December 2, 2018, 5:25 pm)Lovely walk around the reserve. Hides are very posh and loos available also half way through. Last day in November, wigeon and pintail ducks were very close to the hide closest to information centre.

(November 28, 2018, 12:17 pm)Get out & enjoy Rainham Marshes. A good walking circuit. Great spot for bird lovers & to watch the high speed trains go by. Located right next to the Thames for more walking alongside them both. More areas have been built within Rainham Marshes for picnics & for kids to play. It's nice to see its development & the spots educating children & adults. The bird hides are great. Bring binocs!! There's a reasonable cafe/toilets on site and a RSPCA store which seems expensive. Ample parking but can get busy. Enjoy!

(November 8, 2018, 3:42 pm)There are some really great paths, vantage points, hides, unusual scenery & views all with a pretty high species count. It's probably best to plan a route & stick to it otherwise you could easily walk further than you intended.

(October 28, 2018, 7:53 am)Lovely walk - plenty to see. We went anti-clockwise as recommended by friendly RSPB staff. Interesting seeing the passing trains and ships as well. Then we had a lovely reasonable lunch in the cafe which had plenty of options.
