Best Log Cabin

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the lodge and it was fantastic just what we needed,me and my wife arrived at 2pm Saturday afternoon and didn’t stop smiling till we left on Monday morning, surroundings were beautiful cabin was beautiful,bed was outstanding welcome basket was delightful the log burner was cosy and to top things off the fishing was a bonus 4 nice carp and a 3lb roach we will definitely be back in the summer

Just spent a superb weekend here, and can highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a few nights experiencing the English countryside, in "a beautifully romantic" very quiet and secluded, delightfully comfortable and authentic log cabin, surrounded by it's own private lake. Only just opened summer 2016, it's easy to see "any season", this venue offers a truly romantic and memorable stay, especially for city dwelling couples, looking for a truly unique weekend away. Perfect place to relax - we're definitely going back!

A beautiful, luxurious log cabin set in the middle of a small, secluded lake - the perfect private place to relax for a weekend. When Chris and Tracey initially showed us around the cabin it felt like they were showing us a part of their home that they were really proud of, rather than giving the details to a couple of strangers. And they definitely should be proud of it - the cabin was luxurious, with amazing attention to detail all round, and very cosy with the wood burners (there's one inside to warm the place up, and a wood-burning bbq outside). They were very helpful with recommendations on the local attractions, but the cabin itself is more than enough to attract us back, I'll definitely be making another booking!
