(September 29, 2018, 11:32 am)Fantastic friendly service by every single person that served us. Cosy interior. Really well catered for vegetarians and vegans. All that we had was tasty n of good quality as I find pub food can be on the bland side sometimes, lacking seasoning. Will def be returning for more!
(August 23, 2018, 2:36 pm)Food, beer and wine are all good. Food is largely traditional -- not pub grub, much better than that, but recognisable and enjoyable for people of all ages. Steak on the stone is a highlight. Staff are friendly and helpful. View is good. Music is unobtrusive. There's a largish dining area, but you can choose to eat at a table in the bar if you prefer. There's a dress code, but it's informal -- avoid turning up in dirty jeans and a singlet, and you'll be fine. There's a decent-sized free car park, but you'll need to get there early if you want to park easily. My only qualms are that they've packed slightly too many table settings into the available space, and that the restaurant is under-ventilated in the winter -- there's no fresh air in there.
