  This is beautifully located but obscurely so. You need to know where it is to find it. Nice place to sit in the summer and very popular with hikers and bikers.
  
  The food is fine (but not gastro!) nice atmosphere

  More set up as a restaurant than a pub. We just stopped for a drink when it was quiet, friendly service, we sat at the front in a quiet and sunny room and had an awesome view down the Mole Valley. Gents toilets are not good.

  Loved the desserts . Good choice of food and beer. Out of the way so does not attract huge crowds but worth a visit. Be warned it is up steep steps and slopes so don't drink too much

  Very nice food and Tony was a great host! Bangers and mash and the beef nachos were lovely. Also it's dog friendly

  We went to this pub after our walk at the Surrey National Park!
  
  First impression was the lack of parking space unfortunately. We did manage to find a place in the end but I’m sure the parking warden wouldn’t have been happy.
  
  It’s a great little pub with a cute garden with an amazing view! It’s kind of sitting on top of a hill and you have a nice view of the surrounding greenery!
  
  The food was very tasty although we had a bit of a wait but understandable as it was busy. We ordered lamb and beef roast. The lamb was very soft and juicy. One of the best ones I’ve had! The vegetable could have had a bit more cooking as they were slightly on the harder side. The Yorkshire pudding was great! Not the the cheapest pub
