  Great pub. Staff are brilliant, very attentive too. Dog friendly. Food is lovely - the vegan burger was amazing! My family and I really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend

  We visited for a family meal. The real ale was excellent. The pub has I nice atmosphere. Staff nice and friendly, food very good. We will definitely be returning.

  Having recently visited with a large group, I'm pleased to update my rating to 5/5.
  
  Under new management, the Inn on the Pond is a great place to go. The food was delicious, the menu affordable but of quality and the service friendly.
  The Manager was very friendly and accommodating in advance and the staff very flexible on the day.
  All my guests were very happy with their evening and the meal. I look forward to dining here again!

  Great food. Had an enjoyable Sunday lunch with friends. Service could have been a bit faster, but it was a busy time. Everyone really enjoyed their meals.

  Visited for the first time this week and it was so good we came back a day later. On the first visit the pub was blissfully quiet and the service and food were faultless. 24hrs later, on returning, the pub was packed and lively yet the service and quality didn't suffer in the slightest. Aside from the attentive, warm and friendly service the highlight really is the food. The menu includes all the pub classics you might want at a price which seems unbeatable. Unlike other pubs this pub isn't being pretentious with their menu options and gives you exactly what you want but with portion sizes which are more than generous. The quality of the food is clearly something the new manager has focused on as everything is fresh and, from the two options I tried over two days, delicious. Even the presentation is spot on. Overall it's a relief to finally find a pub which is getting everything right. Long may it last.
