“Just tried this today. We ordered the Lamb Phall, which is an ultra fiery hot dish that’s not on the menu of most Indian restaurants. It’s the best lamb phall I’ve ever tasted in this country. The waiter frequently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. He even noticed me on my laptop and asked me if I wanted the WiFi password. Will definitely be coming here again!”

The dinners were outstandingly tasty and very generous portions. “This venue was booked for a surprise party for me for a significant birthday. Decoration was allowed so balloons, banners etc were in abundance. “I've been coming to The Dolphin for many years, more so when I had my dog, and though it's changed hands a few times over the years, it's still a great place to come to and relax with friendly staff (and very dog friendly too). The food menu isn't as large as once was and though a little expensive, what ever I've ordered is always nicely cooked and tasty. Having had lunch this past Sunday the pub was busy, as to be expected, but we managed to get a table. The celeraic soup was very tasty and my mains of lamb was lovely - the meat was so tender and flavoursome. My partner really enjoyed her chicken and enjoyed her apple crumble for desert - a touch more custard wouldn't go amiss though. I'll certainly be back again soon and it's just a shame I no longer have my dog as it was always our favourite stopping point after a nice walk around the fields.”
