  Wonderful Carol concert in the foyer. Very helpful staff. Lovely ambience.

  Modern, clean and efficient, with a country hotel theme.
  
  The food at the Christmas party I attended was well presented, excellently prepared, and tasty. The staff were unusually polite and helpful, above and beyond what I normally see in hotels, and though the receptionist's grasp of English could have been better, she made up for that in attention to detail.
  
  I didn't see the actual rooms, but the party venue and public areas were very clean and in good order.
  
  The party decor was excellent, although putting mirror balls on the tables with drunken party-goers was asking for trouble, and I saw at least 2 of them being stolen by revellers. :)

  The reception staff were helpful answering our queries and the bar staff were very friendly.
  
  The rooms themselves were very clean and well maintained. The food and drink choices available were good quality for the bar and breakfast area.
  
  Overall a convenient and positive stay for the area.

  Lots of old world charm! We would have eaten at their fine dining venue, but there were no salads on the menu and we desperately craved greens! The pub food was good, but limited places to eat it at actual tables.

  Dropped in to meet some friends arriving at Gatwick for coffee and chat. Nice welcome and good value coffee. Staff very friendly. The building is fabulous . Friends state you have to choose rooms carefully. They moved twice on the outward bound journey. Lovely feel to the public areas.
