I never thought that signing up your parents to the temporary nursing home could be challenging. I’m their caregiver myself, but this fall, I needed surgery. Obviously, I couldn’t take care of them while I was recovering. Before the surgery, we were looking for a temporary solution. I was thinking of finding a temporary nurse home for them. But at 1 oak care center, we quickly found a nurse that came to our place daily to take care of my parents. It was so kind of them to check up on my wellbeing and buy some medicine on their way to our place! I can never be thankful enough for doing that for us!
1 oak care center also has a club where elderly people can spend their time socializing. My parents really enjoyed their visits to that club and even found a couple of new friends.
