I have kind of got a bit fed up of so many coffee shops. This one is for me. Not on busy high road just the perfect place to unwind and relax . Great for quiet meet up with couple of friends. “I've been looking to check out Tram Depot Cafe as it's opened just across the road from my house. My opportunity arose on a crappy Sunday morning when I ventured over for a piping hot mocha and a warm pain au chocolat. Perfect way to start the day. The atmosphere was lovely, although the service was slightly slow. I'd put this down to being understaffed and quite busy - nothing I'd hold against the place, though. I'll be back again soon! ”

My only problem is with the impractically placed electric points, none of which are at the tables where I could properly set myself up with a laptop to study, only near the armchairs and sofas. Half of them don't work and curiously, they are labelled "Please don't use", in spite of which staff did let me use them. In spite of this I come here to study and work regularly because it's friendly and clean.”

“This place is now under new ownership and called the cozy cafe. Cheap and cheerful. Staff friendly and happy to tweak orders so you get what you want. They give really good portions of salad with items such as omelettes and jacket potatoes but you can change this for chips if you prefer. The place has been recently given a facelift and feels a bit more good quality now.”
