“This vet practice provides out of hours cover (in Blackmore), the only one locally that I know does it, the rest have outsourced it. Unfortunately I had to use this several times with my old dog. Having to find a practice the other side of Chelmsford with a seriously sick dog would have added to my stress. And the practice had access to her records, and could consult her usual vet. Normally saw Thomas who was really good with her and very kind when she died.”

“We have taken our cats to this cattery for over 20 years and never had ANY complaints. They have always been looked after extremely well. It has changed ownership several times but has never deteriorated. The current owners have refurbished the accommodation and it is now even better!! So comfortable and the cats' every need catered for. .... The setting is also beautiful. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending people to leave their cats in their care with absolute peace of mind to be able to enjoy their own holiday.”

Quite hard to find someone for assistance as they are normally on a checkout cutting queues. Typical 2018 retail though. Quite a few items not priced or placed on wrong pegs, but otherwise all good.”

“Village Vet Cattery looked after my youngest daughter's cats for approximately 17 days whilst they were in between moving and completing exchange on their new house. Both the two cats who are boys got really well looked after and the girls at the cattery looked after them extremely well, with the spacious area for the cats to live in for their temporary accommodation. My daughter was very pleased how her adorable cats were looked after, and the cats are enjoying themselves, living and exploring her new house. The final invoice came my direction and I was extremely happy as I received a discount for this longer stay. If I could, would give 6 stars as this is a really good, caring cattery that will look after your cats, and ensure they have a happy stay.”

“Great service, Simon and the team are always friendly and polite. Star and Bailey get dropped off for a week or so, and they never look back and are more than happy when collected. They vist the nook two or three times a year this is their holiday while we are on ours! We have been using the nook for the past 8 years and will continue to do so. We feel the dogs are happy and safe here so we can highly recommend using the Nook Kennels. :-)”

“We have a very playful and slightly mad cocker spaniel, Bailey, who was a year old when we left him for two weeks earlier this month. The staff were absolutely fantastic and showed us around when we made the booking and answered the many questions we had. When we picked him up, he was well adjusted, though still slightly mad and although pleased to see us, was playful with the staff who had been looking after him. Well they can't speak, can they, so you only have their body language to go by. He was groomed while he was there and the groomer did a fantastic job too. Will not hesitate to use their services sgain, knowing that they will always take great care of him Thank you guys”

“I called in just to buy a tick collar for our dog (which you now don't have), and was told that flea a tick treatment comes together in a tablet, and lung worm in another. So I was handed all these boxes, which, because we are on the health plan, I didn't have to pay anything for! It;s all included in the annual fee. Also, our poor dog had a couple of ticks on her face, which I hadn't been able to remove, as they were near her eye. So, the vet and receptionist removed those and the receptionist sat on the floor and found a few more on her body (how embarrassing). Anyway, she removed all those and I didn't have to pay anything for that either!!!! What service, I was very impressed indeed. Mind you, I have always liked our vet practice........”
