Jonesboro Elementary School is the best elementary school in Bessemer. The teachers will always remember you when you grow up. The school has a gate around it with a playground. Sometimes In the summer, it opens the basketball court for the community. The only thing I would suggest is that the auditorium extend the width of the seats. It gets a little uncomfortable after a while if you're there for a program. But, it truly is a STAR SCHOOL.
I had the privilege of attending this awesome school from 1981-1983. Because of the dedicated educators and Principal Long, I am who I am today.
It was a great school then and I hear it is a great school now!

My grandaughter goes their and it has a good education but needs to improve food and teaxhers heard they curse at students
