Thank you I love my hair cut and color

i scheduled a short hair cut which includes shampoo, conditioner, blow dry, and hair cut at $25. however, i was immediately seated at the salon chair rather than the shampoo chair. i assumed she would ask what i want and then take me to the shampoo chair but instead she started cutting my hair. long story short, i was charged for an express cut which is $35. i definitely should’ve spoken up and let her know that i wanted my hair washed but i assumed she knew what i wanted from my booking. i felt as this if she dismissed my booking because she had another client in a different chair but i’m not sure.

all of this to say, my haircut is still really cute and i’m happy with it! however, i’m really disappointed i spent $10 more then i wanted because i wasn’t able to tip her more than $5. i definitely recommend this salon but make sure they know what you want.

I’ve been looking for a good hairstylist since mine moved over a year ago . Tried 2 places in Gardendale & was disappointed. Then I found out Penny’s had a Salon & got an appointment that same day . She did a “Stacked Bob” & It’s The BEST HAIR CUT I’VE EVER HAD ! Thanks Arlene @ JC Penny !

I absolutely love my stylist, Anise, at this salon! I'm so glad they have reopened! They are very safe and even gave my another mask so that mine wouldn't get wet.

Needed a place to take me in ASAP. Needed a hair cut soon after having my baby girl my hair just didn’t look the same so definitely needed the hair cut a few months after and let me say they did a great job. I love a place you can be yourself and people talk to you.

Came here because the last place I tried they didn’t do what I asked for. This place is always welcoming friendly and I love my hairstyle I wanted. I’m not changing where I’m going.
