“Absolute lifesavers. I was travelling through Birmingham on the evening before Labor Day and blew a tire a few miles from this Pep Boys. I got myself and my car there just a few minutes before 5:00pm when they closed. By all rights, they could have closed and put me off till the next morning, leaving me hours from home in a tight spot. Instead they went above and beyond. Brian and Bray stayed almost an hour after closing making sure my tire was replaced and I was safe to get back on the road. Bray, the mechanic, did an especially thorough job, not just replacing my tire and sending me off so they could start their holiday - he took the time to point out even minor issues that I should check out when I got back home. Polite and professional, I cannot recommend or thank them enough.”

“I got an oil change so my son and his family could take my jeep over the mountains to eastern Washington. When we got them all ready to go, on their way out the engine light came on and it wouldn't go above 3000 rpm or about 29 MPH. I called Trevor, he said he would review the footage and call me back. when he called me back he reported everything looked fine on the video, he was concerned about the engine code so he offered to come out to my home and check out my jeep, I told him I was doing a test drive to see what the jeep was doing so he asked me to bring it back in for him to check. Once I was back at the shop Trevor checked everything out reported no leaks noted everything was tight and secure as it should be. Trevor then checked the code for the engine light "Oil pressure sensor" he had his team completely redo the Oil change and filter to ensure their was no problems once completed he cleared the code and had us drive around for a bit to check to see if the engine light came back on. I have used them for most of my Oil changes on all my vehicles in the past and trust them now more than ever with my vehicles and the safety of my family.”

“A few years ago, my 2010 Suburban was in need of brakes and service. I posted a note on Nextdoor asking for a referral to a reputable auto repair service. The name that was most often mentioned was Dr. Automotive on Cave Creek Road. It only took one visit to make me a forever customer. I'm a 75 year old woman and have never been up-sold or over-sold by this merchant. I've never been given a quote for major work and then charged more when the work is done. Without exception, Armen has always made sure that my safety on the road is a priority. Mario is a master mechanic and when the work is done, I'm confident it's done right. I no longer live in the neighborhood but I still make the drive from Scottsdale anytime my car needs service. It's so nice to find an honest business that still provides good old fashioned service!”

“Took my Nissan Titan in because of a starting problem. Was told it could be a starter, battery or ignition problem. Left it at 8:30 a.m. did not get a return call all day. Next day I called them at noon to find out if it was ready. He said it starts right up every time they tried it but if it does it again to bring it back in. They did no actual work on the vehicle, could Not locate a common issue, and charged me $60.00 for electronic testing . Also did not change oil or rotate tires as requested per my initial visit. Waste of time and money”
