“Bob, a member of this church and a complete stranger to me, took pity on myself and my girlfriend today. We were huddling under the eaves of this church, escaping a rain storm, trying to schelp our groceries home. Our car is in the shop and we bit off more than we could chew by trying to walk to the store and back. My partner and I are in our late 50s and our health is not so great, so the walk home was daunting. Bob introduced himself and imminently offered to drive us home. What a great guy!!!! I don’t think we are angels in disguise, but if we were, without a doubt, members of this congregation stood up and did the thing God loves best.
