Pelham Drivers License Office

Thank you for the sweet & compassionate service for my 90 yo mother today. The 2 ladies in the Star Card office were exceptional (& professional). Sometimes you just got to do the right thing even if it upsets a few, and they did. They both were very aware that my mom was not able to sit for an hour & made the decision to expedite her service. Thank you ladies. Job well done.

Got an AL DL from out-of-state - soooo, the process is slow; about 5 hours start to finish. You call, leave your phone number, with no idea how long it *might* take, and wait for a call-back. Be sure and get in the queue before abt noon, or good luck. We arrived around 9am and got a call just after lunch time. Thankfully ... the people are really nice! Having moved from Texas, we have some DMV stories. {shudder} Pelham may be unique in their methods but it works - just plan to make a day out of it. And be happily surprised when it takes a half a day. :)

Friendly staff who try to make your transaction as smooth as possible. I've never had a problem at this location.
