“I cannot say enough great things!! I filled out their adoption form online and within 10 minutes had a response and an appointment scheduled for that afternoon to see the dog we were interested in. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly, the facility was very nice and clean, and the dogs seemed very happy and healthy! We chose a sweet little fella to bring home and the staff had all of the information we needed to know and more! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting this location for adoption!”

“I found this beautiful girl at the shelter. Her name is Zara. She was well taken care of and they even told me that she had heartworms. When they told me that I know they were worried I'd change my mind. I just couldn't say no to this sweet girl though. I could see she was scared, who wouldn't be, she was abandoned by her old family and left somewhere she didn't know. She was nervous to do so many things when I first brought her home but more and more her personality began to show. She's now very happy and gets along great with her brother and sister (both cats). They all had to get to know each other but in the end they love each other so much. She is much happier now and if it weren't for the shelter I may have never found her. Everyone here is so kind and I really appreciate them for taking care of so many pets that were abandoned. They really try their best. With more help from the community they'd be able to do so much more for these sweet babies. As far as I know they are a no kill shelter but they still have their limits on how many babies they can take in. Please fix your pets! And really consider adopting instead of breeding or adopting from breeders. Thank you Chilton County humane society for all that yall do!”

People will appreciate this place,you can take pictures to enhance the magnificence of Creation. Please check it out. 👩💻🐺. I personally visited the Mann Wildlife Learning...with my grandchildren. We always made learning about Creation, and how everything around us, had to have a Brilliant Creator, our Awesome God of the heavens. Powerful indeed. “We went on a weekday and were able to get in rather quickly with a low crowd. Several exhibits were under refurbishment when we went. Some of the exhibits were really nice but it was rather hot so the admirals were mostly hiding in the shade. We rode the train which was nice on a hot day but it costs extra. The sky liner was not running that day. We had lunch at the cafe The food was standard fast food with hamburgers and chicken strips. There is a large seating area outdoors. It is a small zoo but fun to take small kids for animal encounters.”

“Amazing!!! The price at $22.95 per adult is comparable to other zoos and well worth it! Come in the morning when it's less busy. We bought the feed, romaine cup and budgie sticks. They give you a great guidebook to identify the animals. The petting zoo was nice and laid out very well. Excellent experience! Would absolutely come back.”

“I have to say, THANK YOU! I gave him a call on a late Friday afternoon which just happened to be a holiday as well. I explained that I had a snake on my porch and I was not sure if it was venomous or not. He said give me your address and I'm on my way. He didn't hesitate about coming right over. Once here, he had no trouble gathering the snake and putting me at ease by letting me know it was non-venomous. All I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH.
