  Saw more animals on a cloudy day that turned into rain than I ever did on a sunny day. It was awesome!

  Very small zoo, great for smaller kids. Several of the areas didn't have any animals. Spent about an hour or so there and saw everything. The staff seemed very friendly and nice.

  I love the Anchorage Zoo! Especially Little Rock the Musk Ox. Hes the best! I'll come back every year to say hi to him! The Zoo is doing everything it can to keep people safe during the pandemic. When we went, on a Thursday, there were not many people there at all making it very easy to social distance!

  They were all so nice and very informative. We didn't get to see the polar bear unfortunately. I highly recommend going when you can. It may be a little zoo but they have tons of variety packed in. The animals seem to be well taken care of. This is a wonderful place for people who aren't from the area to see all the native wildlife. I recommend getting a park map. It will keep you from back tracking, though we didn't mind seeing the same animals a few times over.
