(August 2, 2022, 4:51 pm)It's an easy drive with a great view of Anchorage! Turn around and you have a fabulous view of flat top mountain! We weren't prepared to hike, but flat top is the most frequently climbed mountain in Alaska. At least that's what is read or heard. Check it out!

(July 31, 2022, 4:21 pm)Love to hike here with my daughter. It’s a moderate hike. I can do it at 7 months pregnant with a toddler on my back. Beware of the loose rocks because they are slippery. If you’re lucky, mid August, you’ll find some blueberries to pick here. The views are beautiful and will make you appreciate the surrounding mountains even more. Bring your bear spray and bug spray.

(July 11, 2022, 6:49 pm)It costs 5$ for a day pass which is kid of lame but i understand a charge because it is a pretty busy trailhead. What i don't understand is why there aren't any bear proof trash cans. Would change my rating to 5 stars easily.

Perfect location but scary drive in the winter time cos of the windy roads.
