Ship Creek Overlook Park

  It's a sweet little spot on the Ship Creek trail. You can't fish at the spot but it's fun to hangout and watch the birds catch fish. Lots of fish downstream by Ship Creek and you're allowed to fish there. You can see tons of fish here during the season June - August. There's also a small parking area.

  Was hoping to see salmon...but must have been the wrong time of year. Still, it was a great place to sit and daydream...

  A nice place to go fishing! I caught one my first time there! They even have a spot for you to clean the fish on the bridge when your done!

  I'm not so fond of this place because I'm not into fishing but my husband spends way to much time here fishing. If you like fishing it's a great place to go.

  So many salmons. Amazing to watch. Nice views and 10 min walk from Anchorage railroad.

Dropped from a bridge near the Ship Creek Overlook Park, the ducks floated toward the finish line near the Bridge Seafood Restaurant. Spectators cheered and chased the flock down the bank while the ducks bobbed and bounced for position.
