  Bateau is the ONLY of its kind here in Alaska! I moved here from Miami 6 years ago and when my husband and I got engaged I literally started looking at tickets to go down to california or seattle for the weekend to pick out the perfect wedding dress. I thought surely there were no places that carried the whimsical beauties and styles like BHLDN here in AK. Someone recommended I should check out bateau and though I was weary I went for it. It's a teeny little converted house in an area of town I don't usually go to ...and it's filled with MAGIC! They only take appointments so you have complete privacy to browse everything. The ladies are super helpful and their store is filled with gorgeous accessories as well. I ended up purchasing my wedding gown there, fur shawl and a gorgeous bridal headband. They had stunning bridal belts as well but I already had one for my special day. Would highly recommend any new brides to head to this place FIRST before trying any other salons in anchorage or the valley.

  There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this boutique is. They genuinely care about the experience. They are patient, we never felt rushed. The owner has done a remarkable job giving Anchorage the perfect place to buy anything wedding.

  I can say enough good things about this place. She knows EXACTLY how to help you find a perfect wedding dress. Actually listens to what you want and what you are concerned about. She knows her stuff about wedding dresses! There was never I time I felt uncomfortable. This is an adorable shop, and I love the one on one attention. Made wedding dress shopping a breeze. I can't wait to see how my dress looks in photos!

  Shopping at Bateau Bridal was an amazing experience that all brides should experience! Kendall helped my daughter find the perfect dress and accessories, while making the appointment fun and upbeat. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to begin preparing for her special day!!

  I purchased my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses from Bateau Bridal Boutique. It was such a good experience. I visited almost every shop in town and this one was by far my favorite. The shop is so cute and it's private. I felt so comfortable the entire time. Tara was great at helping me find dresses that I would like. Everything arrived on time and as expected. I highly recommend!!!!
