  We wanted to make a trip to Anchorage to attend the outdoor market with many vendors. My sister lives in Delta Junction, AK and I live in Indianapolis, IN visiting here for 2 weeks. We did not make reservations earlier for a hotel room, and with the summer tourist season, we were very hesitant about where we would be able to stay. We both got our laptops out and spent about an hour looking at many different places to stay-especially finding a decent one that still had Friday and Saturday reservations to book only the day before. I happened upon the website for this B and B...and was curious about it's charm. It was a bit late...11:00pm on a Thursday night and I picked up the phone and spoke to Joyce. We were excited to hear they had rooms available at a very reasonable rate so we booked immediately and headed for bed since we would have to drive all the next day to reach Anchorage. It was fantastic once we arrived and Julian was very welcoming to us in their home, and the room was incredible. It was a studio room and it was actually quite small....but the most important thing was that it was absolutely immaculate and spotless clean. It is part of their home remodel from 6 years ago, so everything still looked very new. It had our own bathroom which was extremely clean and wonderful, and 2 twin beds which were great for my sister and I. It had a small couch and small table with 2 chairs, plus a sink with cupboards with a microwave and apartment size fridge (which worked perfectly and kept our food and drinks VERY cold). The most important thing about our stay is that the entire house was absolutely spotless and accommodations were so very clean and refreshing. There is nothing worse when traveling when you can't even feel comfortable walking on the carpet, sitting on the furniture...etc. SO wonderful. If you need an extension of your own home away from home...it is excellent to stay here. Clean, clean, clean and very reasonable. Also, you do get your own key for your room during your stay as well. Julian and Joyce are wonderful, and it make our trip to Anchorage, AK that much better. I would absolutely stay here again and I would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone.
