(August 3, 2020, 12:29 pm)Great place to stay in Anchorage. Will certainly return to this hotel. Beautiful views of the sea planes taking off and landing. Super cool lobby area with comfortable seating and mounts of Alaskan animals. Comfortable beds, washing and drying area, and nice trail immediately outside the hotel for those who like to walk, bike, jog or w/e. Super cool trail takes you around Lake Hood where the planes come in and out of. They can get loud but it isn’t too big of a deal - didn’t wake our sleeping baby. The staff was super helpful and responded quickly to any requests for help. Restaurant staff were not nearly as nice as hotel staff. Place is not super kid friendly (old and heavily used pack and plays), had some minor plumbing annoyances, and was quite dusty (maybe due to window a/c units?)

(August 1, 2020, 8:03 pm)Great place! Stayed here twice and recommend it. Not cheap but worth it. Good restaurant. Lovely location where you can watch the float-planes take off and land. Clise to the main airport, too.

(July 30, 2020, 12:57 am)Average food quality and pricing chips and crab dip & 2 beer on tap= $30. Spectacular setting on Lake Hood... lots of planes taking off and landing..can't beat that anywhere!! So glad they're open, wearing masks (staff and patrons) practicing social distancing and limited capacity. We were in an outdoor area.

The breakfast place is top notch and if your in the mood for dinner/drinks the other restaurant has an outdoor seating area that lets you get a front row seat to watching the sea planes take off. Pretty neat place overall and worth a stop. Pretty friendly too
