  Been going here for years because of their attitude towards customer service. They deserve 6 stars because they go beyond what they should sometimes. I have recommended this specific location to others.

  The salesman was very kind, helpful and professional. The store was very well stocked and had what my car needed , he even gave me a discount upon request .

  Outstanding customer service!!!
  I needed a new battery. I called ahead to make sure they had the one I needed and they had it ready to be installed when I showed up. I had a great conversation with the guy who installed it. Then kept the conversation going with his co-worker about kids and bring good patents and what we do for our kids. He even gave me a reference to the mechanic he trusts personally.
  I could keep going on. I will only go here in the future with my automotive needs.

  Hidden gem on UAA campus. You have to enter the Alaska Airlines Center and ascend the elevator to find the place. Actually reminds me of the type of restaurants often found at Disney Resorts: Clean, well-appointed, with attentive service and fantastic views, but pretty standard food. Yet I have no complaints regarding the food. Anchorage, in general, is a burger-fries-pizza kind of place. Read the menu carefully herr and you can find hidden gems. For example, I ordered a cup of the creamy wild rice and mushroom soup amd it blew my socks off. But remember the views! The dining room overlooks the stadium's basketball court or, in nice weather, you can choose outdoor dining with panoramas of the Chugach mountains. Awesome either way and totally unlike anywhere else in the city. Lastly, you can ignore student reviews that complain about meal points and compare the Varsity to other student eateries. They are talking to a different audience.

  Nice atmosphere. Had a short amount of time to eat, but the food service was quick. I chose the French dip after seeing the reviews here. Was not disappointed. Food is a little expensive for a lunch, but the food quality, location, and atmosphere made it not as much of a focus. I would eat here again.
