Their faithfulness was evident by how they welcomed my wife and me into their family with open arms. The only reason I'm giving Javier De la Vega Park a 4-star rating, rather than a 5-star rating, is because of the fact that it's so well-hidden from the public's direct line of sight... (in my personal opinion: the sign should be more visible to people from the highway!) Anyhow, I've lived here 10+ years & never even knew it was there, thank you! 👍”

“This is a gorgeous lakeside setting that often goes all summer without the mosquitoes finding it! There are wide open spaces for people to run around & play or picnic. The paved bike trails through the woods circle around Goose Lake. A few years ago I almost ran into a large black bear right on the trail just a few yards from one on the busiest roads in town. It's a great place to just get away for a little while. If you're a geocacher, this is a great setting, with still plenty of room to hide more!”
