Anchorage Alaska Temple

Small but mighty. All one of faith has come to anticipate and receive in a Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Session times are limited but that is expected at a small location like this. Happy to be there anytime possible.

A beautiful temple and wonderful people working there, making the visit that much more beautiful.

This building is a beautiful part of our community and the high point of worship for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where marriages are performed and where families are united forever. The grounds are open for visitors and there's a wonderful peace here. It's different from the church next door, which is used for weekly service and worship and which is always open to everyone. This is a special and holy building, dedicated as a house of God where His Spirit can come, which is why such care was taken in it's construction and why entry is restricted. However, you can find pictures of the beautiful rooms online at the Church of Jesus Christ's website. The flower beds here are very pretty and are rotated throughout the year, and each winter there's a beautiful nativity featuring Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus.

The LDS Temple is a beautiful structure with pretty grounds and a source of joy for it's membership. To enter requires church membership but visiting the grounds does not.

Beautiful architecture and landscaping. I really enjoyed the peaceful feeling and reverent ambience that surrounds this temple.
