Denali Physical Therapy

Denali Physical Therapy is the best! I had a long recovery and my therapist (Sam) was very understanding and flexible with my treatment. The environment the therapists created was fun and inviting every visit. I couldn’t recommend Denali pt more!

Samuel Lucas is one of best PT that I have ever worked with. He helped me get my strength and mobility back and the staff in the office are amazing.

These guys know their stuff and know how to make your recovery, however long or short, as enjoyable as it can be. Had to come in multiple times a week for a couple of months and there were times it was the high light of my week. They were laser focused on pain management first and then after that, when the work was hard, did an amazing job making that hard work fun and enjoyable.

I had a shoulder injury (rotator cuff) due to being a UAA student athlete back in April of last year towards the end of our season, sadly. I endured months of pain & discomfort (3 months) that limited my range of motion and daily sleep. I finally made the decision in the fall to open up to my primary care doctor at providence about it. She referred me to Denali Physical Therapy, and it was the BEST decision I could have made!

I had 2 sessions a week for about 2-3 months. August-October. I had a wonderful experience from the get-go. Print outs of my appointments for reminder. Front desk Receptionist, Kate was awesome and very friendly each visit with a big smile. The physical therapist assistant that started me on my warm up exercise out of my hour appointment, Ronell (Former UAA student I had class with) is great too. Lastly, the two physical therapists at this location are really knowledgeable, easy-going, and are extremely helpful with your concerns and needs. We always had great conversations, and it was engaging my entire session. I was sad at my last appointment, because I made it a weekly routine (but I got a T-SHIRT)!

Overall, GREAT experience. Highly recommend to everyone in the Anchorage area that are in need of doing physical therapy. My shoulder has gotten so strong over those 2-3 month of consistency, it’s mind-blowing. ZERO pain, and I was able to intensify my exercise regime after my shoulder was stronger again. I was SO happy, after months of being stuck to boring cardio that I wasn’t accustomed too due to poor condition/pain in my rotator cuff (which also contributed to my weight gain after a couple months). Happy to say im doing awesome these day’s, my student athlete days are over (hopefully) I don’t get injured again anytime soon, but if I do - this is the place where I’ll be coming too AGAIN, lol.

These guys are the best! I would never go anywhere else. The receptionist is a sweetheart. The therapists are kind and understanding. The owner is down to earth. What more could you ask for. Thanks for all your help :)
