The place was clean, it had all the appliances we wanted and even a whirlpool jacuzzi for the kids and my hubby and I! If you have a need for a place in Alaska no matter if it's a retreat, wedding, or just family gathering this is the best place... oh did I mention it's right on Big Lake so please check it out its perfect for that private getaway with family or friends!”

“Kevin and Sheila run an amazing B&B. This was my first time sleeping at one, so I didn't know what to expect. These two were so accommodating, I felt like I was staying with family (and they treated us better than some family of ours)! Sheila is an excellent cook, and even went to the lengths of providing vegetarian options for my brother. The house is amazing, and the view of the lake is breathtaking. The rooms are great, I love the bunkbeds (they built the frames themselves!), and the bathrooms are nicely decorated. It was easier to get to than i expected, and there is a convenience store that carries everything you need less than 10 minutes away. I will remember this experience foeever, and will rave about it to everyone i meet until the day i die. 11/10, would love to stay with Kevin and Sheila again!”

“We had an amazing experience with Sabine and her lovely van which had everything you need for a camping trip in Alaska. She had left no detail out and is at the end of the phone to reply immediately should you have any questions. Even before we left we could message her and ask for her advice on the trip itinerary and she would help us out. The van was clean, well maintained and a lovely home for two weeks. If you're visiting the area and want to take a piece of Alaska back with you.....not something made in China or Mexico, then stop by!
