“Kevin and Sheila run an amazing B&B. This was my first time sleeping at one, so I didn't know what to expect. These two were so accommodating, I felt like I was staying with family (and they treated us better than some family of ours)! Sheila is an excellent cook, and even went to the lengths of providing vegetarian options for my brother. The house is amazing, and the view of the lake is breathtaking. The rooms are great, I love the bunkbeds (they built the frames themselves!), and the bathrooms are nicely decorated. It was easier to get to than i expected, and there is a convenience store that carries everything you need less than 10 minutes away. I will remember this experience foeever, and will rave about it to everyone i meet until the day i die. 11/10, would love to stay with Kevin and Sheila again!”

My son absolutely loved it and it was hot out so we didn’t care about getting wet! Our guide was a very young intelligent man, with a super cool personality! The entire experience was just amazing and we would highly recommend doing this if you are in the area and not afraid of some water and trees!”

“What a wonderful adventure! Our group of seven adults had an awesome time. We range from young and agile to older and wobbly, but we all were able to comfortably participate! We did a summer dog sled training run, spent time meeting our dogs and visited with some puppies. Randy, our guide was fun, knowledgeable and entertaining. He handled all obstacles that were thrown his way easily. Loved meeting the dogs (Hey Luna and Buddy!) All around worth the drive from Anchorage. Thanks for an awesome experience.”

“My wife and I ate lunch here on a Friday and had a delicious meal! We each got a pick-2 and enjoyed it. I didn’t see my normal frontega chicken sandwich on the menu but when I asked for it, they had it! This new location was a smart choice and the layout of the restaurant was easy to maneuver. The parking lot had plants if spaces too. The only downside I found was the entrance to the parking lot is small and not easy to get around.”

“I've stayed at Discovery Cabins in Hope and had a wonderful time. The little guest books on the wall are full of grateful comments of former guests, so I was surprised to see that no one had written a review on Google maps. The cabins are simple, cosy and clean, amidst the trees with a the soothing sound of the creek nearby; what else can you wish for? The rates are very affordable. The owners gave me tips for some awesome hikes and in the evening I went downtown for live music at the bar. I love Hope and these cabins.”

“The ride through the mountain was the best part about my week long trip. I am a novice when it comes to ATVs but the guide, Bob, made the lesson real easy for all to grasp. Bob knows his stuff about the wildlife and how to get the customers to laugh. Highly recommend doing this tour if you are in the area and have the time. Well worth the money. Suggestions: -Wear medium or tall waterproof boots. -Bring extra shoes and maybe pants for afterwards. -Bring a pair of binoculars or a compact telescope in order to view far away wildlife. Enjoy the ride!”

“This was an amazing experience! Our son and his lovely bride eloped to an Alaska glacier and invited us along! Chris and Bridget did everything anyone could do to make it special and to make us comfortable. When we needed to delay for a few hours due to weather, Bridget kept us informed with frequent updates until we were able to fly. Wow! The views were other-worldly! I think it was everything the wedding couple wished for! Chris is a great pilot and made the flights in and out so interesting, pointing out wildlife along the way. Bridget was so kind and thoughtful! Both were careful to preserve the pristine environment. I'd love to fly with them again if I were ever back in Alaska!”

“Super cool place. Walking path by the river where you can see the salmon trying to get up river. Signs explain the salmon life cycle which I found fascinating. They transform as they slowly die. It's kind of sad but super interesting.”

“A really fun tour with kids! We did the 3 1/2 hour tour we got to see puffins and other sea birds, black porpoise, humpback whales and seals are. They had hot cocoa and other drinks available for purchase and lots of room to move around on the boat. We would absolutely do it again. Even though it rained We still had a blast.”

“Thank you trail ridge air for an amazing trip to Cresent Lake for some phenomenal bear veiwing. We called last minute, literally the day before, and they were able to accommodate our request. Yes it's a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Our pilot Chase was very knowledgeable about the area, and was very skilled. Both take offs and landings were very smooth. If you are looking for an air charter out of anchorage for your next alaska adventure go with trail ridge air. Thanks guys!”
