“This place saved my life. I had a “silent heart attack” which also was so severe that it’s called the widow maker heart attack. I felt something was wrong because my heart would beat erratically at the gym. Spoke with my VA Primary Care Physician and requested an EKG to see what was wrong. After arguing and disagreeing for 6 months, I just went to the base ER. I thought the attending Physician was going to have have a heart attack himself! He was wonderful! Within two weeks, Dr Shaw in Cardiology had me set up for a quintuple bypass (though I ended up only needing double bypass) and was well on my way to recovery. It’s been three years, my heart is in fantastic shape. If I had not gone to the base ER, I WOULD NOT BE ALIVE TODAY! Thank you all for an outstanding job. As a side note, I contacted the Hospital CO and relayed my experience and asked that the doctors involved be given, at the very least, a meritorious letter - I don’t know if they were. I did however, bring the ER Doctor, my Cardiologist, and my Thoracic Surgeon each a an expensive bottle of single malt scotch. I think they more than earned it!”

“God bless these guys. They are the BEST! We were recommended by them from another company because the other company didn’t recommend to leave their mask on while working but said these gentleman do. I called and left a voice mail and Isaac called back right away! He was very friendly and professional and a joy to talk to! Our bathtub lever was jammed and leaving the water to not drain properly, and our bathroom sink was clogged and the water was also taking slow to drain. Isaac was happy to answer any questions! He called to let us know he was on his way 15-20 mins ahead of time. We are germaphobs and he was very understanding especially with leaving their mask on because I have asthma and am susceptible during these covid times. Such a blessing we were able to find them for being so understanding and professional!! They fixed everything in less than an hour!!! Isaac was happy to answer any questions I had without hesitation, just pure kindness. “They are always attentive, warm and friendly. Basically Boy Scouts, or what used to be called Boy Scouts. The food is basically basic. But with a little creativity you can rework what is given into a peanut butter and honey with banana English muffin. Most times there is a vegetarian option on the soup, but not always. The real pleasure is a place to escape and be away from the crush of people and all that entails.”
