A Life With Moore Purpose
(January 28, 2021, 9:03 pm)Today was beautiful. You do have to pay $7 to get into the park, but it's totally worth it. It's beautiful and family friendly. Slate hike is very kid friendly. And the park by the trails is so fun.
Go look inside the museum. Its fun, my kids loved it. Also, you can use a horse on the trail. I think it's $25 per person. -

(January 18, 2021, 12:51 pm)Great family hike! We're visiting so paid the $7 daily use fee and were directed to the visitor center. They asked us about what type of hiking we wanted and directed us to the "Quartz Loop" trail (from parking lots take Slate trail to Quartz to Go John back to parking lots). It was GREAT! Wonderful scenery and moderate elevation. It's 3.7 miles and with a few rest breaks on the thoughtfully spaced benches we completed this in just over 90 minutes.
