Dobson Home | Hospice of the Valley

My brother moved to this hospice after a hospital visit. The staff is absolutely wonderful, caring, and efficient. They checked on my brother continuously and responded immediately when called upon. The facility is very well maintained and comforting for patients and family. I cannot thank them enough.

I have been in the Healthcare industry for over 23 years, working in all venues and have been around numerous Hospice organizations. I have to say that upon arriving to the Dobson house I was amazed with the feeling of home as soon as I entered the building. During my 5 days there with my brother I has interaction with the staff on all shifts. I also observed how they all treated my little brother and was just overwhelmed with the loving care and concern that they all had for his wellbeing and ensuring that his comfort was a priority., Maria, Chandra, Joe, Olivia, Krista to name a few were above remarkable and I felt that he was in incredible hands each day. They encouraged him to drink and eat and went above and beyond with this love for chocolate ice cream to keep him somewhat hydrated. The kind and caring conversations that they had with him was indicative of family and they did become a part of us while we were there. They always explained to my brother everything that they were doing before doing i.e. reposition, giving meds etc.. I could honesty say that even my brother appreciated the staff as he would thank them each time the were in with him. Up until the end they were responsive to not only my brothers needs but those of our family. They were knowledgeable of all that was needed again to ensure he was comfortable to the end. I appreciate all and can honestly say they knew what Hospice was as they demonstrated it continually. I love you all and will never forget you and how you cared for my baby brother.

My wife was there for 4 days before passing peacefully. The staff was wonderful and caring. The facility was so warm and comfortable. It was like staying with a loving family member. Hospice of the Valley is a treasured sanctuary in the desert. Thank you.

My mom passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021. The staff was super awesome! When I showed up? There was someone sitting with her and had music on. Anything we asked them to do? They did it without hesitation. I can’t thank them enough for taking care of my mom even though she didn’t last 24 hours. I will never forget your hospitality and professionalism. Thank you! Thank you!!

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart we appreciate all the care you gave my mother. My family is truly grateful. Especially the room to the patio that gave my whole family time to spend with her. Thank you
