A must see if you are in the area. Worth the drive. Goes off on the hour for about 15 minutes. I read it is green for St. Patrick's day. Very neat to see. Lovely lake. Shops & restaurants are close by. Very lovely area.
We take our granddaughter down there fairly often and also occasionally for food. Beautiful setting with the pond and fountain, large grassy areas and a nice playground. Some nice restaurants to visit and a wine tasting place. Not sure why they took the swings down. My granddaughter loves swings so I wish they'd put them back up, then we'd go more often.
I have distinct memories of coming here as a kid and being underwhelmed. Now this is a great park. Clean restrooms, lots of green grass and of course the fountain. The rotary club has added ample play spaces. There's a big splash pad for kiddos to stay cool and play in. There are 2 large play structures for toddlers and bigger kids. They are separated by a music area with a variety of xylophones and other music making things. There are several pagodas with picnic tables so fining a shady spot to eat is easy. This is a great park.
This park is beautiful. It has a nice long paved walk around it. The fountain ⛲ is beautiful and the gardens have signs to learn more about the various plants 🌵 around here. There are plenty of playgrounds and several bathhouses for using the restroom if needed.
Nearby the park are some restaurants and shopping. This is a perfect place to go for a stroll, go jogging, walk a dog, etc.
Also interesting is the veterans memorial. I really enjoyed that.
What a beautiful park. Walking trail all around, playground for young kids and older kids, and a water park for the warmer weather and shade sails over the structures. Great green space to run around with a disc golf course on the other side. We really enjoyed the area and close to restraints and shops. I almost forgot to mention the beautiful fountain.
