  It has taken me far too long to write this review as my baby boy arrived in January. I transferred my care to Gilbert Family Birth Center after having a bad experience with a midwife group in my area and I am extremely glad that I found them. Karin, Melissa and the entire team at the birth center are a blessing to midwifery care. I could not have asked for better prenatal care or a better birth experience, especially as I was a first time mom. I will most certainly be going to them again when the time comes for me to have my second child. I am so extremely thankful for the existence of this establishment and wish that more places like it existed so that more moms could have such a positive pregnancy and birth experience as I did.

  I had the best experience at Gilbert Family Birth Center! I felt so welcomed, cared for, and very heard and respected. All the midwife’s were so kind and patient with me with all my questions as this was my first baby so I had no idea what I was doing!
  They let you tour the birth center and ask all the questions you have before deciding to go with them. They have flexible pay plans. They rotate midwife’s so you will meet everyone before birth. The birthing rooms are so calm and peaceful! They have medical equipment in case of anything. They have a zoom call with you to go over everything you need to know for the day of to prepare you. When I fell during pregnancy they let me come in without an appointment to make sure baby was ok! What I am so thankful for is their care for you as a mom during pregnancy but especially postpartum! They do a home check up 24hrs to check on you and baby, and many other check ups for the mom to see how you are healing! I love that they care for both baby and mom!
  Isabelle was my midwife and I want to give a massive shout out to her for delivering my sweet boy and being my cheerleader and supporter during labor! Also for Karin who always was there for me during my whole pregnancy and postpartum!

  We transferred here halfway through my pregnancy and it was the best decision. It was my first baby and everyone immediately made me feel calm, excited, and prepared for the rest of pregnancy and labor. Karin & her team worked with me & helped me have the natural birth I envisioned & i felt safe the whole time (which was huge for me) it was an honor to bring my baby earth side at Gilbert Family Birth Center with their knowledgeable, talented, supportive midwives by my side. I would 10/10 recommend & will be back for future babes!!!

  Had my first baby here, Karin and the midwives were very attentive and comforting. Calm and knowledgeable when my baby had turned during labor. After at my postpartum appt, they were even more caring and supportive when I was struggling. So glad I chose to birth here.

  Gilbert Family Birth Center is nothing short of amazing. The staff are so sweet and knowledgeable in what they do. They take the extra time to make you feel at home and important when you walk in the building, and make every visit personal in the best way possible. The birth team is so well equipped in experience and knowledge and make you feel confident in your care and birth experience. They are welcoming and considerate, and gave my family the best possible birth experience with our second daughter. I wouldn’t change anything about my experience here and couldn’t recommend them enough for anyone that wants to experience their birth in the most natural and invigorating way!
